    Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time faculty pediatric neuropsychologist to join our award-winning Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within the Department Psychiatry. Our division serves children and adolescents with complex psychiatric and developmental conditions. We are seeking a candidate who has an interest in pediatric neuropsychiatry with an emphasis on cultural neuropsychology, neurodevelopment, and severe mental illness. Experience in these areas is strongly recommended.

    CHA is a community-based distributed health system which includes the Cambridge Hospital, a primary teaching hospital for the Harvard Medical School (HMS). It serves a culturally and ethnically diverse population; more than half of our patients (56%) identify as non-white and one quarter (25%) speak a primary language other than English. The child and adolescent division provides outpatient care to youth and families in two outpatient clinics, three high school-based clinics, and via integrated care consultation in 11 primary care clinics.

    Duties include completing neuropsychological assessments, patient and family education, consultation with colleagues in other medical and mental health specialities. In addition, our division combines advanced clinical care with academic engagement. The psychology division has a robust and vibrant training program that includes psychology practicum students, interns and postdoctoral fellows. The position includes teaching and supervising psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows and the faculty member holds an appointment at HMS. Faculty are encouraged to engage in clinical research that is relevant to our community-oriented mission.

    Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program, have completed an APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency in Neuropsychology. Qualified candidates will also be board certified or eligible for board certification. Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts upon starting the position.
