The Tufts University Family Medicine Residency Program at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is searching for a vibrant, innovative family medicine physician to join our core faculty as the Director of Child and Adolescent Health Education. This full-time position comprises clinical practice, teaching, and curriculum oversight.
Our residency program produces graduates competent in outpatient infant, child and adolescent healthcare. We have a large youth population at our family medicine practice and our residents and faculty also run the Malden Teen Center. We have rotations related to child and adolescent care at three institutions so the ability to collaborate is a must. Experience in research and curriculum development is sought but not required.
The residency is well known nationally for its innovation. It is one of 14 residency programs in the P4 (Preparing the Personal Physician for Practice) national demonstration program and is known for its work on increasing diversity, equity and inclusion. It is located in Malden, Massachusetts, a multicultural community located about 8 miles from downtown Boston. We are part of the larger Boston medical community with plenty of opportunity to network and collaborate with other medical educators.
Cambridge Health Alliance is nationally recognized for primary care transformation and care innovation for diverse underserved patient populations. The accountable care organization serves an ethnically and socio-economically diverse patient population. We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits. Faculty appointments at Tufts and Harvard are available. The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
