    Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a well-respected, nationally recognized, and award-winning public healthcare system, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our nationally accredited CHA Breast Center.

    The Cambridge Breast Center is dedicated to providing a personal, patient-centered approach, focusing on continuous quality improvement, teamwork, and innovation. We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who shares our passion for serving our community and the underserved, multicultural patient population of CHA.

    Position Details

    • 24 hour Position, generally scheduled 8:00am-4:30pm, MNA Cambridge Union
    • Co-manage the medical care of Breast Center patients in collaboration with a physician, adhering to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Provide comprehensive patient care within the Breast Center, including managing acute and chronic diseases according to established clinical guidelines.
    • Order necessary laboratory and radiographic studies.
    • Triage urgent telephone calls from patients.
    • Support Accreditation Programs to ensure standards are met.
    • Collaborate effectively with the RN Navigator on various patient care efforts.

    Required Qualifications

    • 10 years of NP experience.
    • A minimum of 8 years of Breast Center experience.
    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
    • Current Massachusetts licensure authorizing practice in an expanded role.
    • Current DEA number and Mass DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances.
    • Maintain current Basic Life Support “C” Certification.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to CHA’s mission and our patient population.
    • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to actively engage in a multidisciplinary team.
