CHA is currently recruiting a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for our neighborhood health center in Malden.
Position Highlights:
- Full-Time/40 hours per week
- Assesses physical and psychosocial health, performs exams and diagnoses health issues
- Manages therapeutic regimens for acute and chronic diseases
- Initiates, evaluates and modifies treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provides patient health education and consults with other clinicians as needed
- Covered under MNA’s Everett bargaining union. Pay Rate is $61-$111/hour based on years of experience
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 10 years of current Registered Nurse experience providing direct clinical care in an ambulatory setting, caring for diverse age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics, as well as experience with obstetric populations. Preference for candidates demonstrating progressive leadership experience.
Successfully completed an accredited nurse practitioner program or graduated from a bachelors’ or masters’ degree program, with an incorporated nurse practitioner program. Current Massachusetts licensure, maintenance of DEA number and Mass. DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances required. Current Basic Life Support “C” Certification. Must successfully complete the Cambridge Health Alliance credentialing process.
