    Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is hiring a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for its Primary Care Team. 

    The NP will work under the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with a physician, focusing on patient satisfaction, teamwork, and quality improvement, while upholding CHA's core value of respectful treatment for all.

    • Per Diem; MNA Everett Union

    • Assessing physical and psychosocial health, performing exams, and diagnosing health issues.

    • Managing therapeutic regimens for acute and chronic diseases.

    • Initiating, evaluating, and modifying treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

    • Consulting with other clinicians as needed.

    • Providing patient health education.

    • Ordering and interpreting lab/radiographic studies.

    • Maintaining supplies and accurate medical records per CHA policy.

    • Participating in quality improvement activities and clinical meetings.

    • Maintaining current licensure and required CEUs.

    • Supervising nursing students.

    • Following CHA policies on confidentiality and safety.

    • Communicating effectively and working as part of a team.

    • Working with the community and state agencies to address health needs.

    • Performing other related duties as assigned.

    • Salary range is $61-$111/hour based on years of experience.

    Ideal candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current Massachusetts NP licensure, a DEA number, and Mass DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances. A second language may be required. Minimum of 5 years of experience are required.
