We are seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join our Department of Surgery.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad mix of general, advanced laparoscopic, robotic (da Vinci XI and DV5 systems), cancer, and endoscopic procedures at CHA Cambridge and CHA Everett Hospitals.
• Teach and train surgical residents (BIDMC) and HMS students in the nationally renowned longitudinal clerkship. Position carries a HMS faculty appointment commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and an extensive referral network (140,000-patient ACO).
• Supported by dedicated Surgical Residents and PAs, 24/7 in-house housestaff coverage and assistance in OR.
• EPIC EMR and dedicated OR block time, participate in NSQIP, NAPBC, ACS CoC, and bariatric/medical weight management programs.
• Call coverage is shared at approximately 1:6.
• No trauma call.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Guaranteed base salary of $335,000- $410,000 based on experience, plus productivity incentives

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery.
• Active (or ability to obtain) Massachusetts Medical License and DEA registration.
• Completion of an Advanced MIS and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship preferred.
• Strong commitment to education, quality, patient safety, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
